Producer Armando González Sosto announces new project Worm Grunting and shares new single 'Lost Whale', the first from an EP set for release later this year. Armando, who also performs as a multi-instrumentalist for Lou Terry and runs Cable Street Sessions, showcases his skills as a song-writer as well as producer on the new single; moulded from immersive layers of tape loops and woozy synths that combine with driving double drums to form a clattering haze of surreal and beautiful sounds. Armando describes the process of writing here: "the song started as a way of making sense of a guitar loop I recorded after a rehearsal with Lou. It was like a 1hr long thing and I took this bit that reminded me of the noise that Dory from finding Nemo makes when she tries to speak to whales. Lyrically I was thinking about having conversations with ghosts whose houses we live in now generations after they’ve passed." Its a genuinely unique sounding track, a promising first single - keep an ear out for upcoming releases and shows. -Toby Evans-Jesra
